1. Aha Moment: The moment of realization was when Squeaky saw her brother running beside her during the race and noticed how fast he was. It occurred to her that Raymond could be a very good runner.
2. Plot: -Exposition: The main character, Squeaky, and her brother, Raymond, are introduced. It is explained that Squeaky has to watch over her brother because he has a disability. Squeaky is an amazing runner, and is preparing to compete in a race. -Rising Action: As Squeaky is walking down the street she comes across Gretchen, another person competing in the race. Gretchen says she is going to win the race and they exchange insults. -Climax: Squeaky is running in the race, but Gretchen is right beside her. She notices that Raymond is running along and watching. She finishes the race but it is unclear whether it was her or Gretchen who won. -Falling Action: The race has ended but the announcers are undecided on who has won. Squeaky is thinking about teaching Raymond how to run. -Resolution: The announcer says that Squeaky was the winner. Gretchen and Squeaky now respect each other because they are both very serious about running. 3. a: An example of a time I worked very hard was when I was walking home on a very hot day. I think it was worth the effort because I got home and was able to relax in my air conditioned room. b: Most of the time people judge others by how they look, what they're wearing, and how they talk. I have most likely misjudged someone in my life, but I cannot think of an example. c: I was looking at my old Magic: The Gathering collection when I found a very rare card. I was thinking of whether I should sell it or keep it when I realized that if I didn't sell it soon it would rotate out of the standard set and would be worthless. I sold it for 26 dollars.
